Success Story: Heart-Felt Greetings

Heart-Felt Greetings is a wholesale greeting card distributer that targets mostly small business owners who feature greeting card displays in their stores. Heart-Felt’s greeting cards are competitively priced, and a large percentage of its customers are those seeking inexpensive or Christian greeting cards. Heart-Felt had no web site or online marketing campaign prior to signing on with Pop Labs, so we were quite literally starting from scratch.

Campaign Development

For Heart-Felt, we designed a site that would allow them to compete online with the countless greeting card companies out there. While the results from the site were a steady improvement from having no online presence whatsoever, Pop Labs felt it could do more.

The overall challenge we faced was appealing to a wholesale audience and deterring customers looking for individual cards for personal use. We re-worded verbiage on the site and in the calls-to-action in hopes of creating a website that appealed to the right audience while remaining simple to navigate. By improving the message to visitors throughout the entire campaign, we accomplished that goal.

Performance Results

Since the re-launch of the site, Heart-Felt has enjoyed an impressive increase in traffic and form submissions. Prior to the re-design, the site received an average of 50 visits per day. Since the re-launch, we've seen around 75 visits per day: a 50% increase.

Our conversion rate has also dramatically improved since launching their new site. When the original design launched, we received 4 form submissions in the first month. The new design, however, brought in 38 qualified form submissions in one month alone. In addition, Heart-Felt has seen an increase in phone leads that they have attributed to our new site.
