We are looking for talented, energetic candidates with the ability to create visually stunning and modern web designs. Up-to-date design skills and an understanding of the web site development process is critical. If you are well-versed in visual design, color theory, typography, grid based design, and understand how these concepts are translated into web page layouts, then this is the position for you. The ideal candidate will have a great attitude and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for applicants who love what they do, are responsible, and don’t mind being a part of the development process.
A top candidate will be:
- An expert with Photoshop and/or Fireworks, Illustrator
- Experienced with CSS based layout design a plus
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft productivity tools
- Proficient in the use of common web browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox)
Candidates will be engaged in the following work:
- Working with a multi-faceted marketing team in the creation of web site layouts
- Some work with corporate multimedia or print collateral
To apply for this position, you must have:
- An online portfolio, demonstrating your knowledge of graphic layout skills and techniques
- 1+ years graphic/interactive design experience
- A college degree or equivalent real world design experience
- Experience with Flash and ActionScript a plus
